Most of you know that Mack has been on deployment for the past 3 months. Well they are almost home, and just finished up an exercise with the Japanese Navy. To celebrate them finishing they decided to form up and take some pictures - there are over 25 ships involved in this group!! If looking at this pictures doesn't make you damn proud to be an American I don't know what would!!
This is the USS George Washington:
This is Mack's ship the USS Blue Ridge. The Blue Ridge is sort of divided in two, there is the actual ship's crew, and the 7th Fleet Staff which is the Admiral's staff that Mack is on. Basically this is a floating boardroom and it is from this ship that the Admiral controls all of the ships in the area.
A Japanese ship plus some American helicopters
Submarines are just the coolest!!
This is the best, you just have to click on this to see it full size!!! Booyah!!
I am sooooo very proud of our young man! And these pics - so glad he sent them to us! My heart burst with pride and YES I did shed some tears! Welcome home!
